VALENTINES DAY 2018

Our SRC arranged a secret draw: everyone at THE KEEP drew a name, and then gave that person an anonymous gift on Valentines day. It was absolutely wonderful seeing every student and teacher receive a gift from a secret admirer.

Mrs Stella received a gift, a balloon and a cupcake!

There's a surprise hidden in one of these balloons and Deacon and Sarah-Ann are hoping to find it.

Thabo, Paige, Adam and Dylan P

Seen here are Sarah-Ann and Gabi D. Gabi D brought a delicious Portuguese treat for each student and teacher.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR BRITISH STUDENT

Motshedi has now been a student at the University of Plymouth, UK for nearly two months. He says aside from the terrible weather, he is doing well. The following is a message we received from Motshedi last week:

"I just want to thank Monika and all the teachers at THE KEEP for their hard work and patience in guiding me to where I am today. I feel that all my years at THE KEEP are paying off - I'm cruising through all my subjects - Business Law, Academic Writing and others. We seem to be going over the work I have already done at THE KEEP. Without the things I learnt at school, I would not have been doing so well now."

PAIGE DOES IT AGAIN!

Paige came 3rd in Showjumping. Congratulations!

WELCOME FUN DAY

Every year, we have a special FUN DAY to welcome our new Grade 8 learners to THE KEEP. This year, our SRC chose to have pizzas, ice cream and a jumping castle, and everyone had a great time.

Thank you to Cayla, Nanjala and Imraan (our SRC) for all their hard work to make the FUN DAY a success.

Some of our new Grade 8 students, from the top:

Hannah, Mehal, Reatile, Ntokozo, Seth, Deacon, Muhammed, Ashley, Abigail and Sarah-Ann

Even our "older" students couldn't resist the fun:
Kian, Leon, Cayla, Emma, Gabi and Gabi.

Thando, Thabo and Muhammed hardly came off the jumping castle all morning.

Too cool to run around and jump? O and A level students prefer to sit and discuss matters of grave importance....

A sopping wet Dallin is sharing a good time with Thando and Muhammed.

And then, ice cream to end off a wonderful day.
