ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING - 23 SEPTEMBER 2016
Monika and the SRC arranged our Prize giving this year.
Students clapped and cheered when their peers received prizes.
Monika received a special prize for being the world's most amazing secretary. The card was made by Emma, and signed by teachers and students.
Members of the SRC announced the names of those students receiving prizes.
Students receive demerits for things such as not doing homework, forgetting books at home, not wearing uniform, etc.
The following students received medals for not having received a single demerit during 2016.

Students receive merits for good marks, for improving their marks and for being helpful at school. Merits and demerits cancel each other out.
Our top merit earners for 2016 were:
Grades 8 and 9 - Ahmed with 89 merits. Excellent work Ahmed!
IGCSE and AS levels: Bongiwe with 43 merits. Very well done Bongiwe!
