Winter School

 Learners from THE KEEP get up early during the July holidays to attend Winter School. Classes are specially organized to help learners who are writing external Cambridge Examinations during October / Novemeber.

Converting Cambridge Qualifications into South African Qualifications

1. SAQA

·        4 IGCSE & 2 AS Subjects

·        One Language

·        Will be converted to a South African NSC (National Senior Certificate)

2. HESA

·        2 IGCSE & 4 AS Subjects

·        English on AS Level

·        Will be converted to a South African University Exemption

THE KEEP - Blanket Drive

In this bitter cold, our learners come to school in warm jackets to write exams next to comfortable heaters, but there are others in our town who are not as fortunate as we are.

All learners, teachers and friends of THE KEEP, are asked to bring blankets (new or second hand) to school next week. On Friday, these blankets will be given to those who need them more than we do.

Dis mos Groepwerk!

Die Gr.9 Afrikaanse klas het met ‘n pragtige poging van spanwerk vorendag gekom met ‘n taak wat ‘n toespraak, nuwe verkeersreëls en bouplanne ingesluit het.  Die leerlinge het saam ‘n plan beraam om die skool op te knap deur ‘n nuwe parkeeringsarea op te rig. Bouplanne, verkeerstekens en ‘n navorsingstaak was ingehandig. Hulle het werklik uitstekende navorsing gedoen en tot  op die sent bereken wat die boukostes sou uitwerk. As groep wil hulle net baie dankie sê vir hul juffrou, Mev. M. Jamneck, se ondersteuning en bystand.
