AWARDS CEREMONY

 Prize giving, awards ceremony, announcing our new SRC members - and lots of fun - are all the order of the day on the last day of every third term at THE KEEP.

A sad (but proud) day for us - our babies have grown up and this is their last prize giving day at THE KEEP.

Another proud moment. Nande, Kananelo, Cinlo and Lesego have been chosen by our outgoing SRC members and our teachers as our new SRC members for 2026/2027. Thank you for being willing to proudly build on the examples and hard work of your predecessors.

Our Top Merit Award winners this year are Cinlo (juniors) and Kelebogile (seniors). Excellent work, you two!

The following students all received a medal and a slab of chocolate for receiving no demerits for the whole year. Well done on a great accomplishment!

The next students each received PNA vouchers for excellent marks in Term tests and exams. Grades 8, 9 and O Levels need 95% and above for Term Tests and 90% and above for exams. AS Levels need 80% and above both for Term Tests and for exams.

Dian received a total of 6 vouchers, and Cinlo received 5. Wow boys - that's a great many excellent  results.

After the Grade 9 TITAN BANK play, our students had fun trying to find other students holding clues to building the words INTEREST and COMPOUND. The INTEREST team completed their word first.

 

Our Awards Ceremony will not be complete without a bit of Ping Pong - the kind where ping pong balls need to be bounced into cups. Oriel and Lesego are our 2026 winners.

But after all is said and done, four square remains the national sport at THE KEEP!

SAYING GOODBYE

 We'll be saying a sad goodbye to our 2026 school leavers soon. Thursday 17 September will be their last official day at THE KEEP. We wish them well for their external Cambridge exams.

Even though Aum wasn't feeling very well, he came to school to write his class test. His friends made sure to keep him company during break, so that he wouldn't be alone.

Tim completed his school career at THE KEEP in 2016. Since then, he has become a pilot and now is also an instructor. We are very proud of you Tim!

DEVASTATING NEWS

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Keegan Gouldie and his father. Keegan completed his schooling at THE KEEP in 2015. After doing the necessary courses, Keegan very successfully taught English online to foreign students. Our sincere condolences to his mother and the rest of his family, including his two cousins who also completed their school careers at THE KEEP.
