A BLAST FROM THE PAST!
Remember these gorgeous young people - now each on an exciting mission of their own?
It is also wonderful to note that all the teachers in the photograph are still at THE KEEP, and are still helping each new generation of school leavers to give of their very best.

Cayla, Nanjala and Imraan
We're looking forward to all the fun things that this group will be organising during 2018.
AND A VERY SAD GOODBYE TO OUR OUTGOING SRC:
Ridhwaan, Nokubonga and Aaron
Thank you for all your hard work and enthusiasm. Our very best wishes accompany Ridhwaan and Nokubonga on their adventures next year. Aaron will still be at THE KEEP next year as a final year AS level student.
AND A FINAL WORD FROM RIDHWAAN:
I stand here today with a very heavy heart. I cannot believe
that the precious five years of my life at THE KEEP LEARNING CENTRE have passed
by like a blink of an eye.
My role as RCL has taught me to become more responsible and
to take decisive decisions.
In the process, I have also learned that smooth roads will
never make good drivers. Calm seas will never make good sailors. Clear skies
will never make good pilots and ignorant students will not be strong enough to
accept the challenges of life.
I would also like to thank all my teachers for the person I
am today.
Ma’am Hetta for always being confident & guiding me
through the years.
Sir Chris for being my mentor and teaching me good Business
ethics.
Ma’am Lerm for always being my inspiration.
Ma’am Bouwer for all her time and dedication in improving my
mathematical skills.
Ma’am Stella for always motivating me in our discussions
Ma’am Piek for her encouragement towards the Computer era.
Ma’am T for the wonderful person she is.
Ma’am Wessels my INSPIRASIE! Wat altyd sE as plan A nie
gewerk het nie, die alfabet het nog 25 letters. Bly koel!
Monika - the most amazing person, who does not need anger
management classes, always inspires me
by saying “let your smile change the world but don’t let the world change your
smile”
Last but not least from the bottom of my heart, I ask all my
teachers and colleagues to please forgive me if I’ve hurt your feelings by
having said or done anything unknowingly during the course of the years.
There will always be that special place in my heart for all
of you and I pray the Lord grant you all the best for the exams and the future.
I leave this school being a proud student of THE KEEP
LEARNING CENTRE!!!
THANK YOU!!!

TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP COURSE
Early in 2017, Nanjala started a Debating Club at school. A number of students joined the club, and Dr Ian Bratt and Thandeka from Toastmasters International were invited to present a Youth Leadership Course. After the successful completion of the six week course, a Leadership Presentation was held to present the students with their Certificates of Completion, and also to give the students an opportunity to show off the skills they've learnt from Dr Bratt and Thandeka.
